Description

Is Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your PC?

Like many web sites our downloadable brochures, booking and medical forms are in Adobe's portable document format (.PDF). This requires the internet's ubiquitous Adobe Reader to be installed on your PC. If you do not already have this tool installed click on the Adobe icon on the left to download a copy or visit www.adobe.com. If your browser asks you to save / open a file of "unknown" type when you request a download then you do not have Adobe Reader currently installed on your PC.

Are you looking at the correct web browser window?

When you select a brochure to download your web browser opens a separate browser window for Adobe Reader to display the document in. Make sure you are looking at the correct web browser window. A quick way to page through all your open windows is to press "alt"+"tab" at the same time.

Has the file completed downloading?

If you are using slow (e.g.  dial up analogue modem link) then it may take a couple of minutes for the requested  file to download. This may be the case if you see a separate empty web browser window launched and nothing seems to be happening. We suggest you wait a couple of minutes and the then the document should be displayed and available to print / save to your PC
